ARTIST STATEMENT

My work captures the moments when nature wraps her viewer in awe. I take fragments of time from sunrises and sunsets, then add birds flying overhead to evoke feelings of peace and well-being: a state of meditation. These skies are selected from my travels throughout the Pacific, while the birds indicate the endless possibilities in the journey of life. My inspiration comes from memories of being a child in the city, where I constantly daydreamed on the wings of the birds I watched. My work invites you to breathe deeply and enjoy these moments. This is your invitation to meditate.
